MAMMAL DATA ADD-ON UPDATESNOTE: A MAMMAL DATA UPDATE ISSUED ON MARCH 1, 2004 OR LATER NOW CAN BE INSTALLED ONLY AFTER INSTALLING A MARCH 1, 2007 OR SUBSEQUENT ISSUE OF BIRDBASE AND/OR OF BIRDAREA (FOR VISTA AND 7 OR EARLIER WINDOWS VERSIONS). The March 1, 2010 Mammal Data Add-On Update is a utility that updates the mammals species list plus your recorded sightings in BirdBase, and/or the mammals species list plus ranges in BirdArea, to handle all of the many changes Dr. Duff and Ms. Lawson made in doing the research for their book Mammals of the World (2004: London: A. & C. Black). The utility carries out these tasks in a largely automatic way. On March 1, 2010 Dr. Duff and Ms. Lawson made some changes in the ranges of the Lion and several other species that are in the March 1, 2004 Mammal Data Add-On. These changes are available as a free download for people who either bought the Add-On after March 1, 2004 or else who bought it before that time but subsequently bought the March 1, 2004 update of the Add-On. It cannot be used successfully if you are not in either of these categories.
First follow the link below this line for detailed download instructions. Then click the link below this line to do the download. Click the link below for price and ordering information if you purchased the
Add-On before March 1, 2004 and have not purchased an update.
